Journeyman Body Shop Technician

What you’ll be doing:

·         Repairing collision damaged vehicles in accordance with company standards and quality expectations

·         Performing body, frame, structural, and mechanical repairs following manufacturer and industry-approved procedures to ensure safety, structural integrity, and longevity of repairs.

·         Identifying, documenting, and reporting hidden, unrelated, and otherwise undocumented damage accurately and thoroughly

·         Documenting all work performed and recommended repairs on repair orders and estimate documentation

·         Delivering consistently high-quality workmanship to support customer satisfaction and uphold vehicle safety standards

What we need from you:

·         Have 5+ years of experience as a Red Seal Journeyman Bodyshop Technician

·         Have a valid British Columbia driver’s license

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         The ability to thrive in a high-production environment

·         A strong commitment to following company policies, procedures, and operational processes

·         Strict adherence to repair procedures in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications

·         Must follow repair processes in accordance with company and manufacturers specifications

·         Familiarity with industry standard equipment (Wedge Clamp, Car-O-Liner, ProSpot, etc.) considered an asset

·         Knowledge of Honda, Toyota, Mazda vehicle platforms considered an asset
